About Me
I'm a self-shooting producer, director, cameraman and editor based in Dublin.
As a director my work has been broadcast on RTÉ as well as screened at film festivals in Ireland and Internationally. You can watch stuff I have made on My Projects and News pages.
I have worked on a many different TV programs, as an Assistant Producer in RTÉ2s The Social, for two years as Production Co-ordinator on Hands On, the weekly TV programme for the Deaf community broadcast on RTÉ1 and on many other shows as cameraman including The View and The Works.
I work closely with a few artists, including Amanda Coogan. My experimental feature film Yellow, a collaboration with Amanda was premiered at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival 2012.
After making a documentary about the building Liberty Hall I became involved in a few different architectural organisations. I was on the committee of the Architectural Association of Ireland for three years and I was on the board of docomomo Ireland for two years. I have also given tours of Liberty Hall for the last four years for the Open House weekend run by the Irish Architecture Foundation and I am a member of the Irish Architectural Archive.
I've made music videos for The 202s and Mark O’Connor which have clocked up thousands of hits online as well as screening international festivals, the video Ease my Mind was nominated for an Irish Music Television Award.
I also produce and shoot many corporate, exhibition and website videos for all sorts of clients including Dublin City Council, The Architectural Association of Ireland, IMMA, An Taisce and many others. You can see a selection of this work on my commercial page.
A video I made for the Dublin Cycling Campaign recently won the organisation a €3000 first place prize for the Better Together Video competition.
As a side project I make Cycling with… which is a series of video interviews with various people that take place while cycling around different cities.
