This is a short documentary "Tom Mathews, Waiting for Goldfish", we filmed it around Tom's local Dublin habitats and its a quirky look at the character and the cartoonist who's work appears regularly in the Irish Times and many other publications.

It won the best short documentary award at the 2009 Clones Film Festival as well as being screened at all the main Irish film festivals including Cork Film Festival, Galway Film Fleadh and the Stranger than Fiction Documentary Festival at the IFI in Dublin.

As well as his weekly Cartoons in The Irish Times, Sunday Inpedendent and Hot Press Tom has a book of cartoons 'The Best of Tom Mathews' released in 2005 and he recently released a book of poetry 'The Owl and the Pussycat'.
