SIPTU's plans to demolish and replace Liberty Hall have been turned down by An Bord Pleanála today. I'm delighted they decided to turn down the application, hopefully now SIPTU might re-consider their plan to demolish the building and instead restore this important piece of Dublins archiutectural heritage.
